My family is a proud Christian family, my dad worked for all we made, and all we owned and even in the worst of times he worked, taking no handouts even as we were eaten by mosquitos under a leaky tarp sharing the bed of the pick-up with my mom and brother in the front cab. True story and it is mine.

I learned a lot about ethics and about how the easy way is not always the right way in those formative years. People would come by and put pressure on my dad to take us to shelters where the kids and mom would be in one wing and he would be in another separated. These places were usually run by church groups and would require attending services and provide classes to introduce doctrine of the group to the kids. Other people basically raising your children and running your life and at every turn they would tell you how you failed but not provide a path to success that was better than the path you had chosen.

See my dad owned his own business painting on OTR trucks, our situation was brought about by taking a different route from Vero Beach to Tampa Florida where we had a contract for him to do lettering on some company trucks. A contract that was worth around 3,000 dollars. We broke down and this was no truck route, just a place called Clark Florida which was a restaurant and some farmers houses with little else.

The helpful public wanted to see my dad abandon his business and seek a regular job, unemployement, welfare, etc… They wanted a permanent house for us and not the trailer we eventually sold to repair the truck. In short they wanted us to have their dependent life over our independent life. My dad exchanged 3 hours work a day at the restaurant for 3 meals a day. We finally got out when one day out of the blue a big rig happended to stop in and my dad did some work to get us gas money to get to Tampa.

As a result I saw a parody that stuck out in my mind and in later years became a driving force in all I do.

On one hand I saw the handout a quick solution to our housing needs, a guarantee of food in the belly and with it I saw, forced changes from how we were schooled with mandated public schools over our home education, with separation of family and forced doctrine into their churches, their lifestyles, and tons of paperwork and legal loopholes. We would have been subject to home inspections that come with public housing etc.. Freedom would have been eroded and dependence put in it’s place and the jobs offered would spell not enough money to ever get ahead and get out.

On the other hand my dad’s chosen path was tougher in the short term but had benefits beyond all measure. Our family stayed together, worshiped God by our means and experience. We were free to move and live how we wished, and our earnings were not limited by hours in the day. We did not accept handouts because handouts came with conditions and in our America freedom was still your most valuable asset. As a result our trials were rewarded through a small miracle when that driver came through. Our life was put back in order on a grand scale and in the end we all came out stronger for having taken the road less traveled.

Those days taught me a work ethic. That ethic lead to the start of my first business detailing those same OTR trucks at the age of 14. They have continued to provide mental strength even to this day 24 years later where I will spend 40 hours a week at a JOB and another 40-50 on my home based business to keep our independence from government and private programs. I work hard to keep my family togehter and free as my dad has done before me.

In politics it chose my path. I have always been a Republican, because the welfare system is turning a nation into a dependent group of people taking the easy way out in exchange for freedom. I believe in freedom earned through work ethics and following your own path to the American Dream. I believe that hard work equals success and no one not even old Uncle Sam is entitled to the rewards of my success. I believe that big government with it’s checks and balances is costly and intrusive. From the welfare system that requires invasion of privacy through home inspections and force trips to doctors, dentist, dietary plans, no smoking policies, and rules that force public schools over private or home education where children are forced to learn state mandated materials over the teachings of their parents are wrong and not free.

A prime example would be the fact I want my children to know god and never be ashamed to pray in public. I want them to see the fact that the theory of evolution is just that, a theory with holes and missing links while God has page after page of eye witness testimony and thousands of artifacts proving his works. Government run schools teach only the theory and lead our children away from morality. The republicans share more common ground on these things than the liberal left.

Sure there are those who are too extreme in both parties. One prime example of an extreme would be in the vote that outlawed Internet Gaming. This was a case of doctrine leading away from fact and yes our Republicans and a few Democrats did it. Pushed by the religious right this law was founded on a belief of the church that gambling is against god, yet reading my bible I never have found that. What I did find was Jesus overturning the tables of the gamblers and vendors in the temple and a statement that read Not in my father’s house.

Ok so to examine that it was not the fact of the swap meet or the gambling that was noted as wrong, it was the fact these things were happening in the church where man and God should be all that is allowed. Centuries later Christians still interpret this to mean gambling was bad but don’t equate it to vending and selling as bad yet both were happening that day and both types of tables were overturned. We don’t knock Wal-Mart as being non Christian because they sell goods but we knock MGM Grand for gambling yet neither is actually against the bible as long as they do not happen in the church.

To make that worse, many of those same churches hold bingo nights and bake sales in the church to raise funds and those actions are what the bible and Christ really spoke against. NOT IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE it says.

Now the above is in no manner to preach, it shows an area where even as a staunch republican I disagree with some of our more right wing leaders. Yet still party choice is not dictated by single issues but on the whole of all beliefs. I don’t believe in welfare or big government, abortion, or gay marriage, I don’t believe in high taxes or wasteful spending so to hold that one vote against my party and join the Democrats would be foolish. I don’t seek perfection in any candidate because the only perfect person to ever walk this earth we murdered.

A prime example would be back in 2000, I supported John McCain as a friend and when comparing our beliefs I found that while we disagreed on several issues like border policy we agreed on more issues than I did with George Bush. McCain lost the primary so again I compared beliefs and found Bush to share more of my beliefs than Al Gore so I voted Bush. Yes I did and did it twice because loose cannon Kerry was definately not a acceptable alternate even though Bush was moving more left every day.

Similarly I supported Janet Napolitano over Jane Dee Hull for Governor because Jane’s actions were not following her word’s, she was a greedy, power hungry politician more than someone of real values and at the time Nappy shared more incommon in word than I felt I could trust Hull. Big mistake as Napolitano was a huge liar who broke nearly every pledge she made to the group of elected officials I met her at. She was far more left than lead on and is a great fit for Obama policy but not for real Americans.

I will vote for the best candidate for the job in any election and the one thing you can count on is I will not fail to vote. In 2008 we saw a huge tragedy in the election process with all of the voter fraud and media biase as well as apathy in the Republican Party. too many stayed home during the primary that would have voted in the general election had Romney of Huckabee won the primary. These men didn’t because they stayed home and didn’t give either their vote to beat McCain. Again McCain alligned more closely to their beliefs than Obama but because he was not perfect and they disagreed with a handful of issues they stayed home. Again Obama was elected. See a pattern, not voting had the same effect as voting for the other guy. Worse yet it sent a message to others to stay home.

More people at rallies brings more people to polls, but many stayed home. More people in protest to media bias causes advertisers to pull out and the media to get suddenly honest. More tea party protesters will tighten spending practices and if not those same or greater numbers at the polls will get these folks out of office but it all goes back to root one of the core values of my path from homeless to republican.

That core principal is that even when the fight is tough and you feel kicked in the teeth, taking the easy way out is not an option. Voter ethics are like work ethics you must do it every time for it to be effective. Sure those who stayed home can say well I didn’t vote for Obama, but they also can’t say they voted against him so in essence you did in fact help him and the other DNC cronies win.

One of the projects I have been working on the last few weeks, part of what has drawn my attention so that I am not posting as often as I would like to High Tech Affiliate has been the design and preparation of our new blog host which launches today.

PCABunited.com is a Conservative News Media and Opinion outlet, because in today’s economy a business must look out for it’s best interest and can not sit on the sidelines any more. You saw that heavily mapped by such companies as Wal-Mart Stores this past election where they campaigned among employees against the Pass Card legislation proposed by the Democratic Party that would take away the need for a silent vote for employees to unionize. Take one look at Chrysler and the chapter 11 filing, General Motors with their threat of the same and forced pairing with a non U.S. partner, and the slightly about water of FORD to see the negative impact of high union wages and union benefit demands.

Unions have driven prices up and business down at Albertsons Grocery Stores, have forced closer and outsourcing in U.S. Steel, have hampered Transportation services to the point where even having a bus route in a major city operates at a loss and is subsidized by taxpayer money to afford wages and benefits. My father in law worked for AC Transit in the Oakland Area. He earned over $17 an hour for a job that now pays over $29 an hour sitting on his backside driving a bus 10 hours a day. He retired to over $2,000 a month pension and over $3,000 a month total retirement income, always had tons of vacation and paid sick time and earned 80% of his wages during any layoff period. That’s right 80% of his paycheck even when not working.

We have seen schools closed in recent years for teacher strikes. There are teachers earning over $40,000 a year for 8 months of work while holding a part time job and having a working spouse. They say they are under paid and that classroom sizes are too big with too many students in a classroom. Well every time they pour more money into schools to build more classrooms, buy new books, repair old buildings, and hire more teachers. The current teachers strike and take the money that would eliminate their complaints.

Taxes. Omama and crew look to come after our pocket books and snag the rewards of our success, hard work, and investment and hand it to those who do not have the ambition to go out and get their own. The list does include some good people having bad times, but it also includes taking money from productive business owners, hard working upper and middle management, and other productive members of society, and handing it to drug users, drug dealers, career criminals, welfare fraud families, illegal aliens, drunks, and just plain lazy folks who refuse to work. These are the 80% of people on welfare. I know I have sat next to them in the lines myself desperate to feed my kids while between jobs and been offered the sale of crack cocaine sitting in line in the DES office.

Pro American awareness must be raised and patriotism bolstered. We need to renew the Buy American spirit and stop letting politicians apologize for our America being such a great place to live and do business. We must stand up as productive Americans, Proud Americans, and fight for our rights as a nation. We must stand up as Christian business people and not be afraid to put God and Country first. No more must we fear what could be lost but embrace what can be gained by the renewal of the American spirit and the quest for the American Dream.

Barrack Obama the other day in a town hall meeting was talking about how much he hated seeing video of  tax payers that have had enough with high taxes and errant spending waving tea bags at him. He said he would prefer to sit down and have a face to face discussion on how we are going to make health care affordable any time soon.

Well Obama here you go. TORT REFORM moron. Stop the frivolous lawsuits that drive malpractice insurance through the roof and the cost of health care declines rapidly. Insurance fairness act. A bill needs to be passed to mandate that all forms of Insurance be fair in billing.

A insurance company insures a motorist or doctor and they get a claim against them. The insured pays the deductible and then within 30-60 days gets a review and depending on the amount and how long they have been insured either gets a higher rate or is dropped. More often then not they get dropped. The insurance company now passes on the added cost of the claim to all people they insure penalizing every account holder for the actions of the one. If a doctor in California gets sued for 5 million and loses , he is dropped and never pays a dime on the amount and the bill is passed on to doctors around the nation. Those doctors then raise fees and bam health care cost go up across the board.

My brother was in 3 accidents within a year, not one of them was his fault, no tickets, no charges, and no claims against him. His insurance company stated that he obviously was not a very defensive driver and he was being dropped by them. His next insurance company is charging him an extra $40 every 3 months for accidents that were the fault of 3 careless drivers. These are not fair practices.

In my case a major, biggest name in Insurance used a loophole in Texas Law to skip out on paying $8,000 in medical bills from a accident where one of their clients ran a red light and t-boned us. I have bad credit now for unpaid medical bills from it and have been black balled from management jobs after 16 years of being in management because my credit report calls me a high risk. First off medical bills I thought were medical records and should not be made public by TRW, and here’s the kicker. The loophole had to do with the doctor not noting on follow up visits that the original injury was sustained in the accident. My doctor stopped noting this on follow ups and treatments at the point I began negotiations with the insurance company. Hmm… Doc suddenly had money move to Africa to treat aids patients.

Under TORT reform the burden of proof would be switched to the claimants instead of the doctors, the judge would be empowered to overturn jury verdicts that had ignored legal bindings, and the maximum awards would keep cost in control. Face it even the wrongful death of a millionaire business owner is not cause for a 20 million dollar jury award and when they place a price on the head of someone like me earning less than 30K per year it’s just unfair to American’s everywhere. Especially since the doctor usually loses his license, and is dropped by the insurance company, and everyone else has to pay the flipping bill.

Do that and the the fair cost of insurance will be affordable to all Obama. you can make health care a personal responsibility and cut taxes so people can afford it. In no manner should we continue paying high taxes to throw more money at broken systems. If the system is broken fix the system, don’t waste my money hoping it fixes itself.

I have enjoyed my time as a moderator at Viral networks, but as many may have noticed I have been drawn away for over a month now only logging in every few days.

First my family had some tough times on health which are improving. The last 4 weeks it has been because of the steady growth of Velocity Marketer and the rapid development of other sites in our system.

At this point it looks like business will continue to develop and grow and demand even more of my time and I feel that it is not fair to continue in the role of moderator if my time on site does not allow the position my full focus.

I will be maintaining my membership and will be around I just will not be able to be around as often, or as long in any spell. I use to have 4 hours a day to give and am now lucky to find 30 minutes.

The entire team here has been fantastic, and I have loved working with everyone, but my family depends on our business and thus my business must take center stage as Velocity Marketer Hosting continues to grow and provide expanded service to online business around the globe.
