It’s no secret to anyone that Twitter continues to grow more and more with every day that goes by. Many wonder why Twitter is so huge, and why the growth of Twitter has not even so much as slowed down in the least. There are many good and valid reasons as to why Twitters growth can not be stopped located below.

Big companies continue to get on the Twitter train which of course causes a large growth spurt in Twitter accounts. As posted on Up and Running.

Their astounding growth. It was recently reported that Twitter jumped from 2 million to 20 million per month in just this year alone.

International growth. It is said that around 55 percent of Twitter’s users are international.

“Social Radar analyzes the Web to see what brands are mentioned most by unique sources. This includes blogs, other social networks, forums, etc. The analysis includes brands, not just social networks. Facebook is at number 4, with the iPhone and Google at number 3 and 4, respectively.”

U.S. output per worker rose at its fastest pace in six years during the second quarter as businesses wrung more productivity from fewer staff in a sign that a recovery from recession will be slow and unlikely to create a surge in hiring.

A Labor Department report showed non-farm productivity, a gauge of hourly output per worker, jumped at a 6.4 percent annual rate, the sharpest since the third quarter of 2003 after a 0.3 percent gain in the January-March quarter.

“The bounce in productivity is another indication that the nasty U.S. recession is drawing to a close. The bad news is, however, that firms are still reluctant to hire,” said Harm Bandholz, an economist at UniCredit Markets and Investment Banking in New York.

When we work for ourselves or are the owners of a company, we need to remember that we make the rules now, we no longer have to stick to the typical 9-5 hours of operation if we don’t want to. We no longer have to stick to the timeless classic of a 5 day work week if we don’t want to. However, as suggested on FrontLine Results it is possible for us to get a tad bit carried away with bending the rules.

As entrepreneurs or boss’s we need to remember that even we should have a set of rules to follow or at least 90% of the time follow. One suggestion would be to keep track of all of your personal hours that you take, and maybe once a month spend a day or two re-paying those hour’s into your business.

Always remember that you don’t want to short change your business or the people working for you, as after too much of this will begin to cause big problems in the work place.

Many people look at the high achievers in their company and think to themselves “how does he do that?” We wonder what drives them, is it a high level of energy, a person in the background coaching them on or do they drink way too much coffee? Finally here are some answers, some suggestions on how to become one of those high achievers.

Paradox alert! Work through the tedium. Much of what you need to do to become a superstar is repetitive–it will be boring. But there are those things you have to do in order to do what you want to do.

You have to be able to say when enough is enough, admit when you can’t take on anymore. Some people are known for overloading their plates beyond their means, but a high achiever is one who can recognize when they have taken on all they can handle.

Stay after hours a little longer. When the clock strikes 5 for closing time, rather than packing up and saving your unfinished work for the morning, stay even just 15 minute’s longer to finish up. This will also give you a sense of completion and save you time first thing the next morning from completing your unfinished work, as suggested on Entrepreneur.com.
