New vision for Velocity Marketer
Velocity Marketer Company moving forward.
With the hard hit on such services as our website hosting system and the announced retirement or semi retirement of CEO Dave Gilbert, new leadership in Sr. Partner Andy Anderson has stepped forward to consolidate and advance our business.
Velocity Marketer currently holds over 20 domains and websites with most either marked for future website development or used in a manner to generate traffic and buzz about our programs.
Several of these domains will soon be placed for sale via SEDO, the leading resource for Domain Name sales. Currently offered for sale is PR5 Easy Search Live search engine which has been decided no longer meets our future development goals and has been placed on the back burner the last couple of months.
Easy Search Live was established on the domain easysearch.com.au in 2003 and mover to easysearchlive.com in 2005 and is a high traffic, well ranked website and domain name that has built a great reputation in the alternative search engine category.
UPDATE: We have pulled our listing for Easy Search Live and redirected that domain to send immediate traffic to our new and drastically improved search engine AZ Locate. The new search engine has such major features as mobile search, and social media search tools and expands our service beyond it’s former limits.
Our business model moving forward will be laser targeted on our growing wordpress theme, CMS templates, and prepackages website themes, tools and training resources through My Viral Business. In addition we will remain active and moving forward with My Viral Blog . We have also just launched AZ Locate Internet Search Engine with social media search and quick view for comparison shopping. We are also in development of a micro blogging system at Hot Spot Social which has entered Beta Testing and is awaiting a upgrade to the current RSS output before being released.
Over the next couple of days a total changing of the guard will be completed, all reference to our former hosting services will be removed or modified to reflect the end of that program. At that point we will begin to add new designs and products to My Viral Business and expand promotion of our affiliate program and discount club operations.
Please bear with us during this time of change and growth,
Andy Anderson

Velocity Marketer to close hosting services.
It is with sad hearts that we are announcing the official close to Velocity Marketer Hosting.
Due to the Global Economic Crisis our client base has dropped sharply and does not allow for the hiring of new support staff to continue offering the high level of service we have provided since inception. With that in mind we as a company will not offer a service that does not reflect our promise of rapid experienced support and client promotion.
No new clients will be taken:
Existing clients have been issued a notice that they will have until the end of February to find new hosting service to migrate their websites to prior to our closing of the c-panel system and access to accounts. Clients who have moved their service prior to the end dates of their current contract will be refunded the remainder of un-used service as per the site terms you agreed to at the beginning of your contract. Full details have been e-mailed to you at your account e-mail address.
Existing hosting clients in need of support related to their moving of websites and domains from our system may place a support ticket in your user back office..
Velocity Marketer and Velocity Marketer Hosting in conjunction with DG Innovations / Pyrium of Australia have been proud to serve you, and have valued every client. This was a tough call but a much needed move to save resources and consolidate our business.
It is with further sadness we announce the retirement or semi retirement of CEO and Hosting admin Dave Gilbert. His technical skills in design and SEO, had him in high demand among clients and made Velocity Marketer Hosting work.
Dave has reached a time in his life where 10 years of late nights and early mornings has demanded he now focus a majority of his time to family and living life. His grand children demand his presence and we wish him the absolute best in his at least scaled back workload.
Dave has been asked to remain a periodic author for My Viral Blog sharing his wealth of knowledge and has offered limited consulting to Dale and Myself. He may also be available for outsourced work on design projects in the future, but his services will not be a daily part of Velocity Marketer moving forward.
Dave has been friend and mentor to me for the better part of 5 years. a true friend in success and trials alike and his efforts have resulted in a strong business model that has survived where others have failed. I am proud to have had him as a business partner for so long.. I am even more proud of our friendship which knows no bounds, even the thousands of miles of land and water between Australia and my home in Yuma Arizona. Dave and his family will always be a part of our extended family and a door will always be open to his return.
Thanks to Dave for his service and our clients for their business,
Andy Anderson

Micro-Blogging for success
One of the most important tools in a marketers toolbox is the microblog, no other form of free promotion can get visitors to your site faster than a microblog.
Now there are many sites on the net offering microblogging apart from twitter and sometimes using one of these other sites can be more beneficial than posting on twitter alone.
Some of the other microbloggers deal only with certain niches and for targeting these are ideal places to launch your product or service that fall into a certain niche (most products and services belong to one niche or another) SPNBabble for instance deals mainly with search and advertising while Hot Spot Social is focused on the Internet Business community and social media as a whole and deals mainly with business networking and link building.
Most of the Microblogging sites allow you to place a URL within your post but you have to remember a microblog is small normally between 160 and 200 characters so keep the text short and link to the information rather than try posting all you need to say in the microblog, most will have found this post simply because it is linked to my microblog demonstrating the power a microblog has.
When joining a microblogging community it is important you read their rules in order to avoid being banned for spamming, be sure to fill in your profile giving as much detail about yourself as possible (the more people know about you the more they are likely to accept you in the community), be honest never try to embellish your abilities as you will quickly get found out and be shunned as a fraud.
Be active in the community never just post and leave, your post will quickly disappear from the activity feed so you will need to re-post daily, you may also receive some comments about your post, be polite and answer them even if the comment is upsetting replying with a thank-you for your input can be more upsetting for the commenter who probably just wanted to get a reaction from you.
Follow people, the fastest way to get followers is to actually start following people you come across in the community, most times they will reciprocate and follow you also, following a person means when they post you should be notified of a new post most times you will receive an email notification likewise when you post your followers will all be notified providing instant promotion of your new post.
Your Avatar is important it should reflect who you are, personally i prefer to use a good head shot photograph of myself but you could also use your brand or logo as effectively.
Check your spelling when making a post and use proper language skills, if people can't understand what your saying they are going to dismiss your post as rubbish.
Don't forget to check out all the facilities offered at the microblogging site, some are pretty cool and can be a great tool for promotion .
Most of all remember microblogging works and if your not already using them then you are missing out on a ton of free traffic not to mention the links your posts will provide back to your main site.
