Australias Kevin Rudd announced yesterday that effective immediately tobacco taxes would rise by a massive 25%, but is this really legal ? can the prime minister simply dictate a rise without any public debate and is the tax discriminating against smokers ???.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbot pointed out that although masked as a move to force the smokers to quit and thereby improve their health, the real reason is possibly to make up for Kevin Rudds overspending at the expense of those afflicted with the addiction.

Personally i feel it’s just another case of the free country not being free and the will of a few being forced upon the many, how would this tax hike have faired in a public poll ? it would have probably lost overwhelmingly, the way this tax has been installed is exactly what would have been expected of Sadam Hussien  or Fidel Castro.

Wake up Mr Rudd Australia is supposed to be a democratic country yet you deny us our freedom of choice, you already tell smokers where and when they can smoke now you want to cover up your mistakes at our expense, just because you do not smoke doesn’t mean we cannot smoke and should not be penalised because we do, you are discriminating against smokers and it’s time to stop, you want to raise that money try putting a lid on your already bloated salaries and you trips all over the world to do what something you already have ambassadors in those countries to do.

Mr Rudd your in for a fight because the tobacco companies are not going to simply roll over to your demands they remove their long established brands from their packaging, the smokers in Australia are not going to take being the fall guy for govt mistakes yet again with this move you have already lost the next federal election, We the people demand equality for all.

Mr Rudd i have been a smoker for 40 years an addict to nicotine yet you offer no aid to kick what is supposed to be more addictive than heroin instead you simply kick us in the teeth again and again what do you think the results of your tax is going to be  well i can tell you this Australia will see a rise in crime and suicide, the poor of this country struggle to make ends meet now while remaining honest yet you in one stupid move powered by greed have put the poor in a position where they have little or no alternative but to steal and commit crime in order to survive, simply going cold turkey is not really an option and is also one many doctors warn against because of the irreparable physiological and physical damage it can cause and yes it can lead to suicide.

You want Australia to stop smoking then look to other incentives like a free quit program where we can get the medications required to wean us off of nicotine for free and also get the  physiological help necessary to kick the habit.

You have stuffed up Mr Rudd, you are PM not Dictator of Australia and your new tax is not Legal or Fair, We demand a public referendum where you will find out just how low our opinion of you is after this disgraceful act.

I wanted to take a couple minutes here, because we have denied over 30 sites so far in the past 3 days that were legally considered PONZI and thus illegal.

By Law a Ponzi scheme is any program not offering a product of fair value that exist as a business opportunity based solely on the flow of new members into the system. Also known as a pyramid scheme these programs do not hold any value outside the business opportunity promise of commissions on sales of the business opportunity.

Often referred to as cash cyclers, randomizers, HYIP, or Cash Gifting, these websites promise huge rewards off of each cycle. To cycle means to fill a limited matrix which required a set number of new members into the system. Example: 2×2 forced matrix earn $100 when you cycle. To get paid you must bring in two members who bring in 2 members each our you can recruit enough members beyond your two to fill in the first level of your downline.

Under U.S. and most international laws these programs are illegal.

Why are they illegal? Because the flow of new members always stops causing some people to have potentially invested thousands of dollars into growing to the new levels and lose all the money they have put in. In many cases the member can lose even more as being a agent and active promoter of the scam. In some cases you personally can be held liable for monetary losses of those you bring into such a program and can even serve Federal jail time.

How bad can it be? Well when you consider that each downline member you recruit into a Ponzi scheme is a separate offense and each time you use e-mail or the United States Postal Service to promote it you are committing a Felony mail or electronic fraud with fines up to $100,000 and imprisonment up to 20 years per offense, the penalty can include life in prison and more money then you will ever see. The exact fines and maximum jail time is directly related to your success and the amounts lost by your recruits.

Some companies are very tricky in their presentation.

One that I saw today offers a profit and business opportunity guide as the product of the initial $5 buy in. The product in this case is a instruction guide to promote the criminal levels of the program that have no attached product, so you are basically buying an instruction manual for committing a crime. Really sounds like it’s legal looking at it on those terms. The same program goes further in masking the crime by stating that buying into the gold and platinum memberships will result in a share of co-op advertising traffic and sign ups and where this fails to meet the law is for it to be a product the Co-Op would need to allow you to promote any website or business and this co-op is solely for the same purpose, promoting the scam.

Our members are good people, I know that in my heart and I know many of you from other programs and feel that you simply did not know before attempting to put these programs into rotation. Many Traffic and marketing system owners approve such sites either out of ignorance or greed. More sites to promote means a greater chance you will buy advertising, but here are Traffic Firestorm we take member security to heart and background any program that looks even the slightest bit suspicious.

Key factors to get your mind going on investigating any business opportunity website so you can avoid being scammed.

1. Is there a visible product of value?
2. Is that product of value related solely to the promotion and education of how to promote the opportunity or does it have extended use?
3. Do successive levels have added products of value and is any promised marketing product able to be used for more then just that program?
4. Are your earnings related to commissions on the product or to sale of the business opportunity only?
5. Major red flag for any program stating 100% Legal. A Legal business never needs to say this, there is little to no question of it on a legal business. Always run a back ground on any program claiming such a statement and you will find over 90% of them to have multiple scam alerts and fraud reports.
